
The European Federation of Building Societies is an association of credit and other institutions promoting and supporting housing finance. As Europe moves towards political and economic integration, the Federation promotes the idea of home ownership, represents the interests of its members in the European Union, ensures that its members are kept informed about progress in European unification and about the measures taken to this end by bodies of the European Union. Furthermore, the Federation supports and intensifies mutual information and exchange of experiences among its members in the fields of housing finance and housing policy.

🆕Change in the Management Board:
Bernadett Tátrai (🇭🇺) has just been elected as the new President of the EFBS. She will contribute years of valuable experience with our Hungarian member Fundamenta-Lakáskassza.
MEP First Vice-President @othmar_karas is giving a keynote at the EFBS spring meeting in Brussels. 🗣️ His intervention covers the implications of the Russian war in Ukraine but also his view as rapporteur on #BaselIII.
